To become a member you must have:
· A valid credit card
· billing address and phone number
· shipping address and phone number
· email address
Billing
address must be the same as shipping address,
otherwise you will need to contact the
store for card verification
Membership
is not transferable and in order to be
eligible for membership you must be 18 years or older.
A lifetime, non-refundable, membership
fee of $1000 will be charged. On registration
you will receive a member login and password
. A membership card will be mailed to the address provided. The membership card
,login number and password provided to you, must
only be used as outlined by our polices
and guidelines. You acknowledge and accept full
responsibility and guarantee payment for
all items rented through the use of the membership
card and/or login number and password.
You must notify Viewers Choice 2000 immediately
by telephone and in writing if your membership
card is lost, or if someone else had found out your membership login number and
password. You will be responsible for all use of the
membership card and/or login number and
password, prior to receipt by Viewers Choice 2000 of
written notice of the loss or theft of
these items. Failure to notify the store of loss
or theft of these items may result in the
posting of significant charges to the credit card account that you have identified
on the
application.
Security
Charges
Before registration can be completed you must
complete and submit an authorization to charge
credit card form for Viewer’s Choice 2000
to charge your credit card for the full value
of any penalties that might become due in the future. These could include,
but are not limited to, overdue charges, damaged movie
charges, retail value of movie in the event
of loss of theft. Once a charge has been made, you will receive notification
of the charges made to the account.
Rentals
Once registered you will be able to rent movies/games
online for delivery or in-store pick up. (Not
all movies will be available for online rental).
The delivery options will depend on customer
location. See Shipping Information for further
details on delivery zones and rates.
Any
rented item not returned to Viewers Choice
2000 on the required due date will incur late
charges. Late charges will be applied daily
at the rate of the applicable one night rental.
Rental items not returned within seven days
after rental, may at the option of Viewers
Choice Entertainment, be converted from a
rental item to a sale item. The member will
be responsible for the full retail value of
the unreturned item plus any late charges
arising from the rental, prior to the conversion
to a sale item.
All tapes are to be rewound on return. A penalty
will be charged for tapes returned that have
not been rewound
Membership May Be Terminated
For:
· refusal to comply with the rules of
the club.
· refusal to return movies/games/players
· refusal to pay for lost or damaged
movies/games/players
· refusal to pay rental, penalties or
outstanding balances
· losing two or more rental items
· abusive behaviour towards staff or
other customers Accuracy of Information
In providing information to Viewers Choice
Entertainment, you agree to provide true,
accurate and current information about yourself,
and to maintain and update your registration
information to keep it true, accurate and
current. If Viewers Choice Entertainment has
reason to believe that the information is
untrue , inaccurate or non-current, Viewers
Choice Entertainment will have the right to
suspend or terminate your account and refuse
any future use of your account.
In joining you acknowledge that you have read
and understood these Terms and Conditions,
and agree that the membership card, membership
login and password, issued by Viewers Choice
Entertainment, will only be used as outlined
in these Terms and Conditions. You agree also
not to add, alter, substitute or amend, partially
or wholly, any information, software or other
material displayed on, or contained in this
site.
Intellectual Property
The materials displayed or contained in this
site, including but not limited to, all software,
design, text, photographs, editorial material,
graphic materials, names , logos and trademarks
are property of Viewers Choice Entertainment
or its licensors, and are protected by copyright,
trademark and other intellectual property
